We're proud to release a new version of the Destiny Reader! Download it here: Download Note that the reader has a new filename that now includes the version number. The latest version is v.0.9.5. The new version will not retain v0.9.4 settings / position / size / etc. Note that it is the same file name as the previous version of the reader. Make sure you use the new one after downloading. Screenshots: Changelog: To install: Simply drop it in your destiny folder, right click on it and select "send to desktop (create shortcut)" though the reader can be run from any folder on your PC. Known issues: For now, reader doesn't work alongside ENB. Workaround: place the reader in a separate folder. (assuming this is not fixed) Rare Sound has some known edge cases that currently cause a sound to happen when there was not a rare drop. These include dropping and picking up meseta from your inventory while a rare item is on the floor before picking up meseta from a monster or box. And dropping 1 item from a stack if it's not the entire stack in your inventory (dropping 2 or 3 pd / luck mat too). These do not apply on Pioneer 2 or Lab areas. Rare Sound may have other unknown issues. Your selected client can change to a different one automatically in rare situations that involve using 3 or more clients at once. Example: If you open 3 Clients, select Client 2, and close Client 1, your selected Client will remain "Client 2" but Client 2 will have changed to what was previously "Client 3" and you'll be reading from a different floor. This can also happen when opening additional clients, and should only apply when you have a specific client selected in settings. Easter event delayed Let's get this out of the way first, Easter event will be delayed by at least a week. Yes it sucks, yes there will be new things, no it's not ready. Sorry guys. I tried to get everything released by this weekend, but that's just not going to happen. While the content is more or less done, I haven't even started to properly test the new stuff. I can't release it until everything is confirmed stable. An update on Destiny development For the past 6 months we've been mostly working on the server code and get things in place to make development faster and more streamlined. The way we used to do events was holding everything back. It took us ages to make unique items, enemies, quests and such and actually a lot of the time goes into planning and testing things to make sure everything works correctly on all your PSO installations. Some events consist of over 40 server files that have to be replaced or edited manually in the right place, and after a month, reverted back. This is painful, I'm getting too old for this lol. With every update behind the scenes the development became less hassle and more fun, and I've already reduced the amount of files required for an event by about 50% compared to before, without losing quality. We've field tested this new system last year with anniversary part 2, and besides a few minor issues, it works as intended. This means we can use the extra development time for more fun stuff and less dealing with problems. For Easter and future events, I've reduced the amount of files required even more. But, there's still a lot of testing ahead. The end goal here is that we can keep making fresh events that can be activated with barely any effort, while also working on new content, balance, bug fixes, tools, etc. For example, we've been working on some crazy endgame content for some time now, which, like I said in another post a while back, is not related to any events. That's still coming, and I promise it's worth the wait. In other words, endgame content is one of our main priorities. Anyways, I hope this gives some more insight of what we're all doing behind the scenes. And definitely don't miss this Easter event! Even though it will be late, I have a feeling this will be the best Easter event we've ever had. I'll be working hard to get it released by next weekend. Magic

Drops from Bubbles on all IDs @ 1/630 New item: Section ID Halos A chromatic halo that boosts support techniques and accuracy. Req Lv:150 DFP:180 EVP:180 EFR:20 EIC:20 ETH:20 EDK:25 ELT:20 Class: All This shield boosts: Reverser & Moon Atomizer range by 100%, Jellen & Zalure by 100%, and ATA by 25. It's only available during Valentines. To obtain it, find the "exotic armor dealer" NPC in the Love Research quest and he will trade it for 3 Wings of Life and 50 Flower Bouquets. The color of the halo you receive is based on your current section ID. Anniversary 2023 Anniversary Crates This special crate can contain a LOT of different items and just like the daily crates can contain items with up to 100% attributes/hit (even though at a very rare chance). They are dropping randomly from any monster in the game for the duration of Anniversary Event. Rules: Anniversary crates drop randomly to a player. No daily limit, you can find/pickup as many crates as you want. It's not allowed to farm crates with multiple accounts at the same time. Happy hour doesn't influence the crate droprates. Rates: PDS in WOI During this Anniversary Event, you're able to obtain PDs in the infamous quest World of Illusion. Normally this quest awards a random material after each of the 7 stages. Game changes Paragon Frame added to the droptable Twin Rika's Claw added to the droptable Bugfixes Paragon Frame S/D level boost was fixed. You no longer have to use workarounds for the level to stick at 35, it should all work properly as intended. If you still find any issues please let us know. Paragon Frame can now properly drop with higher dfp and evp values as per the database, this was unfortunately broken but now fixed.

Part 1 (2 weeks) Saint Rappies The Saint Rappies are roaming around, dropping Christmas Presents that contain various stuff. NEW! Trade 25 presents for a custom mag This event around, you have the chance to trade 25 Christmas Presents for a custom mag order with a GM. Rules: Only the Christmas Presents dropped from Saint Rappies are accepted, not the ones dropped by monsters. See the picture for reference. You'll receive a level 200 mag with any stats you like. Both non mag-cell mags and mag-cell mags will cost you 25 Christmas Presents. Redeeming starts after the event. Photon Tokens & Presents For the duration of part 1, all monsters in Ragol have a chance to drop presents and Photon Tokens. Photon Tokens Photon Tokens can be used to add hit to weapons by speaking to Paganini in the new Phantastic Bazaar quest. That said, Act of War has special bullets and Twin Executioner special has a new effect. And Terror Sawd is actually 20% bigger than a normal chain sawd. Sorry for the delay on ending halloween event. We've made quite a lot of updates to the client in order to support more custom content in the future, but this wasn't 100% stable yet. And because grim reaper attacks are hardcoded in the client and cursed wing was added, we couldn't just roll back to the old version. That said, the new client should be stable now. If you do happen to find issues or random crashes (NOT disconnects, actual crashes to desktop), please post in the bugtracker section what exactly happened. Xmas event will start within a few days, and we will still have a nice surprise for 4th anniversary. So stay tuned for that!

Hi! Here's a little update about what we've been working on and our plans towards the future. As you probably know 5th anniversary event was skipped last year because of issues with the item. It took a lot of effort and we almost threw it in the garbage but I'm happy to announce that we managed to get it working correctly. Not only that, we've prepared something really special to celebrate Anniversary. There will be 2 temporary quests and 2 limited items, one for 5th and one for 6th Anniversary. Warning: It won't be easy! It's designed to play with a group, so make sure to bring your friends! Timeline: October 25th: Anniversary Event (2 weeks). 2 temporary quests and 2 new limited drops. And of course Anniversary Crates. November 8th: Halloween Event (4 weeks). Headless Horsemen will return. Unfortunately at this moment Grim Reapers are broken, so they may or may not return, depending if I get them fixed in time. Fixed! December 6th: Xmas Event (4 weeks). Christmas Spirit drops and orb of illusions drops from certain bosses. Plus of course the usual Xmas stuff. Other important announcements: From October 25th onward, it's no longer allowed to redeem a custom mag cell mag where the mag cell is provided by the GM for 15 tokens. That being said, you can still order a mag cell mag with a GM for 10 tokens as long as you bring your own mag cell. So, if you were planning to get a custom mag cell mag from a GM and don't want to provide the cell, you have to do so before October 25th. A quick heads-up for traders: Bat Wings and Wings of Life will become obtainable again, every year, from their respective events (Halloween and Valentines). Valentines Crate Rules Valentine's Crates drop the same way as Daily crates, individually. No daily limit, and all monsters have a chance to drop a Valentine's Crate. It's not allowed to farm these crates with multiple accounts at the same time. This year two potential crate rewards have been added (as suggested by @VEL(JP)) Type RI/Rifle Holy Ray Good luck! Rates: Flower Bouquets For the duration of valentines event, flower bouquets drop randomly from all monsters. Find 15 and exchange them with a GM to add a special to a weapon that doesn't have a special yet or to change a special from a weapon. Redeeming starts after the event ends. Starting off strong this Halloween HH was far from " Cursed " for sure

Hi! A short news update regarding our last Anniversary Event. We've received some player feedback and it seems that while players enjoyed the content, a lot of people found the duration too short. This also falls in line with our own findings: Not many 5th Anniversary Armors have dropped, even though participation was high. 57 total armors dropped, which is considerably less than past anniversary drops. TTFD was hard, there were group and gear requirements and there was a learning curve involved. 2 weeks time wasn't enough to consistently run this quest and obtain the drop for most people. Which is not the intention behind our Anniversary events. There were pretty much two events going on at once, due to the delay last year, so you couldn't really focus solely on TTFD. Considering all this, we have decided to extend the 5th Anniversary event with one week, starting after Xmas event (january 3rd). As for 6th Anniversary Cells, over 300 have dropped, and that quest wasn't that hard, so it will be just the TTFD part that's being extended. Keep in mind that this is a one time thing and future anniversary events will still only be 2 weeks. After this final week of TTFD, it will never return, and 5th Anniversary Armor will be forever unobtainable. Since there's still roughly 2 weeks left in the xmas event, you have plenty of time to prepare your team and acquire some extra gear if needed.
