Well, yes and no. Luck materials indeed don't drop at all from common drops. But, a random material isn't rolled. Rather a random tool is rolled from a list, with certain materials having a chance. Here's the common tool list for ultimate episode 1: As you can see, TP materials also never drop, even though they are a regular green box. But that's because they have 0% chance. However, what you said is really interesting, because with psobb, the server is 100% in charge of the drops. In the end, common drops and rare drops use the same packet to let the client know an item dropped. And I knew for a fact the server doesn't check redbox flag, so it had to be something else. So I dug through the code to eventually find this: Basically this means "if the tool number is 23, the rate is 0". Now if you start counting this table and start with 0, number 23 is luck materials. With that code disabled, and the luck material rate cranked up, luck materials drop just fine, even from boxes. This change will be included with the next Destiny update. From then on luck materials will drop everywhere according to sega rates.

So a lot of people have issues with PDs and such still dropping shared. So here's your chance, vote on what items you want to see drop individually. Before you go "everything!", no, I still won't make everything drop individually for two reasons. 1. PSO has a 50 dropped item limit per area. To make it work right (and not clutter the limit) we would have to start from scratch and redo the entire drop system, and lose hybrid drops such as daily crates and presents in the process. And if we make literally all items drop individually with the current implementation of things, it would increase the chance on desync and lag. 2. Meseta, moons, fluids, non rare weapons/armors and other common drops really don't get ninja'd. So there's no point in having them invisible for the rest of the party if they're not picked up. Thanks for understanding. Contents of boxes also won't be dropping individually. But, at least, you can have the important items such as pds drop individually and not ninja'd. Lastly, if there's other important item types I missed besides rares, pds, grinders and mats feel free to post them here in this thread.

Hi there ! o/ So im having an issue with the game recently , it's been a long time since i played the game so i thought i'd revisit it and hunt some goodies. Unfortunatly , i've been having an issue with the ingame patcher doing an error 903 when it tries to download the "launcher.exe" or "psobb.exe" either of theses two. Most irritating thing is that it makes a false positive on my Anti Virus program so i have to do a bunch of stuff for it not to make the files into the quarantine section and make it unavailable for me to restore. I tried instaling the game into my C:/ drive , surprisingly it did work for 1 time yesterday but now it dosent work anymore. I really tried everything i could , heck i tried instaling it in every directories i could ever think off and it just wont work. Did i skiped something ? Did i do something wrong ? If someone can help me on this that'll be awesome. Thanks a lot ! PS: I know i could've gave up and go to another server but i made some progress that i could've never acheved in Ultima before so , yeah. There's that. Also , oof.

I didn't mean to put random. Rather I meant when a Tool Drop is rolled, there are various types of materials that can be chosen dependent on current area (I blame posting while tired and tipsy). Thank you for clarifying what I meant. Also kudos for investigating into the code regarding Luck Material.

I really thought i was never gonna solve this one. Whoah. Odd. Pretty weird why theses files have a false positive. I should be carefull when i turn my antivirus on now. Thanks on the info ! Blue Phantom Field I got with @Orgodemirk spamming the beginning of LHB. 2. Red Phantom Field given to me by Good Guy @Orgodemirk, who found 2 before I could find mine, so he gave me his spare. 3. Found a Demon's Raygun with 50 hit. 4. Meme Fill Scepter +128 with 55 hit. 5. FINALLY found a Frozen Shooter with 40 hit for Snow Queen. I've never had a Snow Queen--I've always wanted to make one, but I've never been lucky enough to find a FS with enough hit until now. My previous best was a 25 hit one on Ephinea. 6. Got a 0'd Excalibur from a crate. 7. BIG MILESTONE: Finally found a Centurion/Battle. It took ungodly long. I remember @Sabrina offered me one for my 40h Sword of Despair, and for a long time I've kind of regretted not doing that trade. NOT ANYMORE. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH 8. An almost-maxed HUney's total ATP with an Ultimate Double Cannon and 4P PB buffs. 9. Finally got a Smartlink after doing 8 BPD runs in one day (although I've probably used 15-20 PCs total to get it). I've been coasting on 90 hit my UDC dropped with as a Lavis, but now it can truly shine. :3 Also wow, the difference between having and not having a Smartlink with Hell Striker is night and day. o_o 10. My 3rd X-Parts drops. ...Anyone wanna trade me for a Dynasty Armor or a Kroe's Sweater? <.< 11. My 4th X-Parts drop. ...Anybody? >.> 12. I'm getting this message for whatever reason when I go to use the launcher. It was working just fine those few hours ago when I made my account and grabbed my twin gladius. The game did drop a few times on me for whatever reason when I went to buy antidotes for mag feeding.

Well I'm on 10 actually. The issue seems to be fixed though. I just uninstalled everything and reinstalled it after restarting everything. Don't really know what was all going wrong still though.
