I couldn't get my recording software to cooperate with Destiny in fullscreen, so I had to settle with windowed mode at a really big resolution.

No I hadn't actually, but thanks for mentioning him. I checked out some of his videos and he is indeed on another level. o_o I've actually never tried Ultima, Eden, or that one Japanese server whose name escapes me. Similarly, I didn't ever get to try the official servers. So while I'd argue I'm the most well-known Bee in the PSO community, I am certainly not the first. There were several RAcaseals with insect themed names on Schthack with the same outfit as me, in fact. I have a screenshot of us doing a TTF somewhere saved. I do plan on going back to Ephinea at some point. I don't know how long the novelty of Destiny will have on me, but I do want to actually get a Heaven Punisher on Ephinea. I was seriously considering quitting around the level 100-120 range since getting into Ultimate is so ungodly brutal here, especially with RAcaseal. Right now I'm just a little burnt out after spamming CCA for two days straight. But as of right now, I still consider Ephinea my main server of choice, and I don't really have any intention of quitting Destiny. Thank you all for your messages. :3

I've started playing here relatively soon after the server started, I just haven't made an intro thread beecause lazy. I am Bee, AKA Schrödinger, AKA Peppercat, AKA whatever name I go by at the time. I started playing PSO on the Dreamcast with version 1, played on the Gamecube version, and Schtserv was my first private server I went to. My main has been a RAcaseal named Bee ever since GC. Alas the HDD that kept all of Scht's character and account data died, and everyone lost everything, including me. So quit Scht for good after that, and after a lot of deliberation, I settled on Ephinea as my PSO server of choice. I seen a thread posted over on the Ephinea forums about Destiny, so I signed up for the email notification thing when Destiny went up, and HERE I AM. Trivia: I broke my first DC copy of PSO after sitting on it on accident The oldest bee ever found was a 100-million year old bee encased in amber in Myanmar HUmar was my main class on the DC The largest species of bee is the endangered Indonesian resin bee, Megachile pluto My favorite weapon is Spread Needle (alternatively an S-rank Needle w/ arrest special) I have never been stung by a bee, and have, in fact, pet them without them becoming aggressive Unsealing Excalibur with an android is the leading cause of suicidality among PSO players

PIZZAAAAAA The #1 reason I could never give up dairy or grains. I like virtually any pizza except ones with italian sausage or anchovies on them. I especially like barbeque pizzas. Current favorites include Hawaiian barbeque chicken and Papa John's "Big Bonanza" pizza (bacon, beef, Canadian bacon, onions and jalapenos). Other favorite things; tacos (in general, but not the PSO2 kind), General Tso's chicken, Elvis sandwiches.

I already gone ahead and made sure I've made antivirus exceptions. Although there isn't much point since for whatever reason, Destiny doesn't give me false positives like other servers. I set the exe's to run as Admin, and also run them in compatibility mode for XP service pack 2. Supposedly the latter helps. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I've always installed PSO in the root of hard drives. But your advice is very good. I tried running the uninstaller Destiny has, and all it uninstalled was the uninstall folder. >.> So I had to manually delete everything and clean the registry. I was getting "Admin has to delete this, try again"-type errors when trying to delete pso.exe and the Destiny PSOBB folder that housed it, but those went away after a restart. Also it should go without saying but I'm on an admin account, soooooo idk. BUT, in any case, I've reinstalled Destiny and it's working again. I had another issue while writing this post which was the Gulim font wasn't the one the game uses anymore, but I got it to work by selecting it again with the PSO settings thing... That Ephinea has access to. I have both Ephinea and Destiny installed on the same hard drive, and apparently editing the options in one also effects the other. Which is good, since I can't find a way to access the original PSO settings from the Destiny launcher. Sooooo, hopefully this is the end of my technical issues. Hopefully.

I've been able to play without too much issue. I've had the odd game client crash here or there, but the game is very much playable. Well, until this last crash. I was doing some CCA runs, and when I went to join our group's new game, the client crashed. Then, when I go to launch the game now, I get this popup that says "Failed to start pso. Error: Access is denied". I don't know what's causing this. I didn't change anything or not give it administrative permissions or anything. I put a screenshot of the message. I'm gonna try to reinstall Destiny and see if the game works again then. Will update on results.
