Destiny v0.7.8 (Major Update) Item buffs and new mechanics As was said in the last update notes, we now have the ability to modify items in ways not possible before. We will be using this opportunity to gradually roll out buffs and changes to existing items as well as new ones. The goal is to increase the amount of useful items in the game (even vanilla items), encourage more diverse playstyles, and to close the gap between custom and vanilla gear in terms of power. These modifications can include changes to animation, number of hits/projectiles, set bonuses and much more. Some weapons now truly feel like a completely new weapon type, and we think this breath of fresh air is what PSO needs. The buffs are not only targeted to endgame players, but also to intermediate and new players. This goes hand in hand with droptable changes to provide the freshest and most fun PSO experience blue burst has to offer. Below is a list of buffs with this update. And it's just the beginning! Massive credit to @Orgodemirk for doing the coding to make this all possible. Droptable changes Droptable has been updated (by @VEL(JP)), for more info please check below. Higher enemy HP We now have the ability to modify enemy HP freely, thus can set HP higher than 32,767 from this update. (credit goes to @Magic). Hey. i'm Blue. This tutorial will be covering how to get to Ultimate Mode using a solo method. i will be going in-depth on what can be used, that most players may have glossed over. in this tutorial, i'll be using a Hunter. They're usually hard to level & gear when starting out, so this will be perfect for teaching you how to overcome that. All classes stats have been reworked. HUcaseal's Max ATP is very close to HUcast's. HUmar can now use Shifta/Deband. HUnewearl's MST is close to max on lvl 200, while having solid overall stats. This leaves me with HUcast. While definitely not a bad class, he can be difficult to get around when starting out. His high DFP doesn't seem to get much use, since you need to sacrifice one of your major stats to get it high enough. Having the highest ATA of the hunters, HUcaseal does his job much better when she's your first pick. This is why i consider him a 'Late-Game' class, because his strengths wont come into play until you manage to find gear for him that compensates for his flaws. So let's pick HUcast to make it harder on ourselves. Neat. First thing we wanna do is create a room and start Mag-Feeding. Most players will just tell you to create a high POW mag or something like that. i would recommend you to create 2 Mags. How do we do that? Just make another character and deposit their Mag & Meseta into the "Common" bank, by typing '/bank' once your in Pioneer. (Tip: Characters outfits determine Mag color). Remember that Mag feeding is instant on here. Unfortunately, i'm too lazy to go over how to feed your Mag and whatnot, so just search online the recipes, or ask someone in-game or the Discord on what to do. Press F4 to spam Mag-feeding. it takes around 40 minutes to feed 1 Mag. So for our HUcast, we'll create 1 POW & 1 DEX Mag. Which might seem overkill, but having 2 different Mags will help out later when you want to create your second Character (The DEX Mag will be great for your Ranger). Now that we have our Mag, let's start. We'll start with a quest called "Max Attack S", in Episode 1. (Don't forget to Customize your Action Menu & Palette. Choose the Action you want & press a number between 0-9 on the keyboard to add it to the Palette). We can just spam traps. We don't even need a weapon! (Not because i forgot to bring one or anything >_>) Keep in mind that traps take much longer to explode on it's own on lower difficulties, so you may have to shoot them yourself. Destiny's EXP rate is high, x5 rate on average. But at this point in time, i was playing during an event. So the EXP rate became x10 instead, allowing us to gain levels really fast Thanks to Destiny's high EXP rate, we managed to ALMOST get to level 20. i think i could've gotten to level 20 if some of the confused monsters didn't take my kill. Oh well. Now lets do something else in the meantime. We're going to hunt 'Addslots'. They drop from the Rare Lily & Hildeblues on the 'Redria' Section ID in Episode 2 on 'Normal Mode'. You can change Section ID's by typing "/sectionid #" in the lobby only. (# - Refers to the sectionid number) Number '6' is for Redria. Usually, this option is available when an event is on. A text will show up on the right side of the screen indicating it's still on. if nothing happens, then you can assume the /sectionid command is off. So let's try a Quest called "Dolmolm Research" in Episode 2, under the 'Destiny' tab. The Quest shouldn't be too hard for you. Especially since you're a high level like me right now. After Hunting like 3 or 4 Addslots, i want to go over a few things. Did you know, Hunters can now use 'Divine Punishment'? This can accelerate your levels for early game by a landslide. All you need is a "HELL STRIKER" & Striker Unit Mag. Just make sure your in-game 'Internet Time' is on an even number by opening your menu and looking at the bottom right. (Ex. 000, 200, 400) Destiny also allows for higher tier common weapons with really strong specials, to drop much earlier than they originally should. These two were just found in Mines Area in Hard mode. After doing some more Max Attack S, we can do a Quest called "Phantasmal World #3" (PW3 for short). Recommend to reach level 30, so you can do this quest in Hard Mode, for the high grade weapons. Kill everything here, then take a left. The Morfos are going to be pretty tough. My HUcast can't do enough damage to them, so i'm using a "Storm Repeater". A single-target weapon with 'Hell' special can work too. i recommend you switch to your DEX Mag for more accuracy. Make sure your Camera isn't facing them, or they start BLASTIN. A few light enemies down the hallway, and we made it to our reward. Can even get some 'Photon Drops' from these boxes. After finding some more weapons, i decided to try a Quest called "Harmony of Despair II" (HOD2 for short). This Quest normally requires you to have an item called "Weapons Crystal Badge" in your inventory before starting. But that only applies in 'Ultimate mode', so it's completely free in 'Hard/Very Hard' difficulty. it's inaccessible in 'Normal Mode'. Also i found one of the event crates too. Neat. That Quest can kick you in the teeth if you don't abuse everything you got in your arsenal, especially this early. if you manage to kill everything in sight, including splitting the 'Bulclaws', you can get to level 50 just by playing halfway. On 'Very Hard Mode', you can get to level 90 in just one session, if you managed to take advantage of all the kills, with x10 EXP on. Our next goal is to get to Episode 4. We need to make it to Level 70, so we can start hunting some good units for once. The level requirements for difficulties are just 10 levels lower than the usual. So for Ultimate Mode, it's just 90 instead of 100. Gear that you'd want to go for are the 'God/Series' units. Since i don't feel like listing where to find them, the drops for these are here: Destiny PSOBB - Drop Tables Just press 'CTRL + F' and type whichever unit you need to find. So after leveling some in 'Very Hard Mode', i managed to get to level 73. This is what my gear looks like: We will start an Episode 4 Quest called "MA4DMD" (or something like that...). The goal is to kill the 'Dorphon Eclair' that's guaranteed to spawn at the last of the starting area waves of enemies. First, we will deal with the 'Zu's'. They're a pain in the [REDACTED]. But we can deal with them. Using the Rock as cover, the other 'Zu's' will just slowly strafe around to get a clear shot, so just focus on one. i'm using a 'Demon's Raygun', since my HUcast isn't doing alot of damage on his own. (Note: Casts only suffer a Demon's penalty in 'Ultimate Mode') Now we can use this rock to eliminate the pressure from most that spawn here. [ignore the Striker Unit. Has almost same stats as Varaha, and i'm too lazy to switch it] You could try to use confuse on them, but the 'Dorphons' have way too much HP for it to even matter. Beware, the 'Astark' can hit you through the rock. All the big enemies can be Hell'd, but it's about a 3%-5% chance for it to work. So the strategy is to use a weapon with an Arrest special on the 'Dorphons' (Since they're immune to freeze traps), and use Demon's special after. Use a weapon with the Burning special or equivalent to do damage, if your ATP is too low against a monster. Gush special can heal you and do the same amount of damage stolen from an enemy. Don't worry about dying. This can be tough to deal with, so just expect it. A few waves later, and we reach our target. The 'Dorphon Eclair'. Use either Demon's or Hell, as this thing is pretty weak to the Hell special. After killing him (Assuming you didn't run into an actual rare 'Dorphon' before now), just reset. This is what he drops in 'Very Hard Mode' if this was too hard for you, then you can always try an easier method. Create a room and change the "Play Mode" option to 'One Person'. This will change the game to Singleplayer, allowing you access to the original story quests and make the monsters weaker. But it will change the droprate to x1 at all times, even when Happy Hour is on, while also giving you much less EXP from enemies. After that, goto Episode 4 and start a Quest called "Pioneer Spirit" or "Warriors Pride" (Pioneer Spirit gets to the point a little faster). When the Quest starts, look for these characters, a guy in an orange wet suit named 'ASH', a gremlin named 'RUPIKA' and a Ranger named 'BERNIE'. You can only take 2 of them on each Quest. Unlike the other useless NPC's, they will help out alot, since ASH deals around 150 damage with both physical & techs, and RUPIKA can spam techs and heal you whenever you're low. Once ASH leaves the team, reset the Quest. Because by that time, RUPIKA most likely is low on Star Atomizers and TP for her Techs. So she becomes dead-weight and you'll have to pretty much carry her till then. After a couple of runs hunting units, and some more levels, we reached 'Ultimate Mode'. Our final goal, is to see if we can fend off & farm the monsters in Forest Ultimate. What we want is that 'SMARTLINK', 'Centurion/Battle', and maybe the 'Centurion/Arms'. There's not much reason to hunt in 'Very Hard Mode' at this point, since 'Ultimate Mode' Grants us a x2 droprate boost. So lets see what we can do: it may have been slow, but we did it.

Hello, thank you for this service! I'm excited to explore this server, as I'm a big fan of the customizations. Before I get too invested, it would be nice to get an honest assessment of if this is a good place to start a new account. 1. There's very few people online (~20 right now), will I normally struggle to find players? 2. Looking through the drop rates, they don't seem much higher than Ephinea (which I assume is close to retail?). Many are 1/1000 and PWand still has a 1/300k. Will this still have the mindless and sometimes endless grind for items? I don't have as much free time as when I was younger for that. I was really excited to see the front page ad that the drop rates are increased, but the drop tables took away that excitement. 3. Are the best custom items unobtainable? I remember in oldschool SCHTSERV - before the accounts got wiped and it went back to boring vanilla mode - it was practically impossible to get Rainblow if you missed its original event, for instance. Which was a shame, as that sword was awesome. 4. What are the best tips and advice for a new account on this server? Thanks for your time, I look forward to speaking with you all.

Hiya, I have been on this server just over a year now so I am happy to answer your questions. 1. Destiny does have a small community though during events and happy hour you can expect to start games and people will readily join them, simply put a big JOIN in your game name and they should roll right in. If they don't, you can shoot a message out on the destiny discord and folks will usually jump on to join a game. During happy hour all rare drop rates are x3 what they normally are. Happy hours last for 3 hours and occur every 15.5 hours. The current event is Halloween event and will last for about 4 more weeks, during which section id change is unlimited and exp is x10 (exp is x5 when no event is going on). Lots of other good drops in for event as well for both the new and veteran players. I think of the community like a small town, you see the same folks alot and everyone always happy to give you a hearty welcome. 2. When you are in multiplayer mode on ultimate difficulty, the drop rate is always x2 so pretty much cut in half those numbers you see on drop table as long as you plan on playing in multiplayer mode when you get to ultimate. As I mentioned above, happy hour makes it even easier to find rares since rare drops have x3 rate. That x3 rate is for all difficulties/modes, allowing players still going through those lower difficulties to grab some sweet rares too whether they are playing in solo or multiplayer mode. For example, the ep1 rate for Cent/battle from Hildetorr on ultimate Viridia will go from 1/16 to 1/8 as long as you are in multiplayer mode. During happy hour that rate will go to 1/5.3 regardless of if you are in multiplayer or single player mode. Cent/battle gives a 80% atk speed bonus, good stuff. 3. Almost all the custom items are available all year around. Usually there are a few items that come with a seasonal event like Halloween or Christmas but even those will come back when the holiday comes around again. Even then you can certainly buy seasonal items from other players. You can hunt parasitic gene flow year-round here though the drop rate is better for it during Christmas event. The vanilla weapons have also started to receive buffs to put them more in line with all the custom equipment as well. Just take a look at the drop table and you will see loads of custom gear on there. Most are on ultimate difficulty though there are a few on very hard as well now. 4. We have infinite mag feed all the time, there is no mag feed timer so you can feed your mag all at once. Look up a max stat plan for you character on the discord tab for it and feed your mag first as you will start with a big chunk of meseta too. Or just feed a mag how you want to and then make one for your max stats later, can also start new characters to deposit baby mags in shared common bank. Alternatively just get into ye ol open forest game and start watching those levels fly so get right into the action. If you should decide to join Destiny there are certainly lots of folks to help you get started (including myself). Hello, I've noticed that third party tools are strictly regulated here. I'm also a diehard keyboard player, and there's one tool that could help me. But, since it's a third party tool, I wanted to ask here to be safe, as I don't want to get in trouble. Please advise, thanks! Is the PSOBB Input Map program allowed for use here? It remaps keys the way the ingame UI does, by modifying the mappings on our server profiles. It allows us to remap any key exposed in the Keyboard Config vanilla UI. As a reminder, many keypresses in that UI are locked and uneditable, or just for show, and this tool resolves that. You can find it here: link to page, link to file Just to clarify, I'm not speaking of the Key Remapper program. That one runs on the OS and aggressively takes 0-9 presses and simulates numpad 0-9 presses. This means it also interferes with all other programs running on the machine. To my knowledge, this is the only way to remap the hotkeys to the numpad. One noteworthy issue I've noticed with it is that people can back themselves into a corner if they mess up crucial keypresses such as confirm, cancel, menu, or the directionals. One user had a huge issue after mapping confirm and cancel to the same key; they couldn't undo the mapping and, after reloading the game, they couldn't even get past the character select screen! So, beware. In such cases, the server admins/devs have to manually remediate their account's button configuration server-side. Having the default template available for copy/paste purposes in such cases could save some headache. Also, having a personalized version of this with more safety rails - like a reset to default option - could definitely be an advantage.

Filtering out "orange boxes" in the reader does not filter all weapons. Weapons with hit will still show in the reader. However, weapons that only have other attributes will be filtered regardless of the %.

Thanks for asking first before using. I personally don't see a reason to disallow this tool, however, we won't be providing support for it like other servers do as you mentioned. We don't currently have a procedure in place to reset keyboard configuration. And while it's possible to implement a reset button with automated procedure in our GM environment I'm afraid it's not a priority right now as we already lack time to work towards most of our own goals. Bottom line, while you're allowed to use this, I don't recommend it as we can't currently save your character if something goes wrong. It's completely at your own risk.

Hello, I'm over 40 years old, already an adult obviously, I don't see a better place to enjoy this game, yes I'm also from the time of schtserver, which was very irresponsible resetting everything, but it's over. Anyway, I've been here for 4 years, the ease of getting everything is stimulating, there are so many combinations that you can make a hunter mage with level SD 35. Due to my time here, everything is possible to get. This is a good and bad point, because you don't need to have someone to help you hunt for things, because the server works so that you are self-sufficient in everything, whether it's leveling up or finding items! But of course a party is much better.

Pwand is Obtainable from Whitill Del Lily @ 1/900, Compared to vanilla, Destiny won't take much time to grind your gear I think. most of meta items are available within realistic droprate. In addition you can add hit% on weapon by using 'Photon Token' thats available in many ways. I've played scht before the server wipe too, then started to play here since I've pretty much done in vanilla PSO. didn't take so long to get in End-game here, as well as gear. 4. this will help you a lot

Is it possible to move a character to a different account if both accounts are owned by the same person? Even if it's only possible by donating to the server.

What hate, though? I don't see any hate besides from mudkipz and you apparently, but yeah, homies 4 life, right. So, the stolen code myth has been debunked, so now we're getting the undeserved bans thing again? Well let's settle that one as well, the people that got banned for, included but not limited to: trolling the forums, coming up with fake issues to troll the staff and harassing legitimate players ingame, were given the chance to appeal their ban as seen here. Guess how many people actually appealed? zero. That gives me the impression they were not really here to play, after all. So thanks but no thanks, we don't want your "PSOBB's dead and toxic player base". Also this server is far from dead as well. It's growing. Just a few days ago we had 17+ players online. I can't be more proud and I'll never give up on Destiny. Do us all a favor and move on.
