    Why ? Why can't people just play.

    Wherever you want, with whoever you want ; no need to judge, diffame or shame. And for... what anyway ? Certainly not fame, money or panties, so I don't get it.

    By the way, this server is great. And so are the others. We can choose one, or pick them all. And I wanted to say : it's nice to have the choice, so thank you to everyone that makes this possible. Remember that PSO is already a grandpa, and all these servers are so many shiny canes that allow it to stay upright.

    Once upon a time, a programmer was really hating Luck Materials; those gave him goosebumps and yellow liver. And because he thought it was not enough to just set the drop rate to 0 (in case another programmer would like to make this possible by raising the drop rate above 0), he just went through the "bother" to add a single hardcoded condition that would prevent Luck Materials from dropping like any other tool.

    More seriously, I can totally see a little story like we all went through at some point:

    Moderator: So a player reported finding a luck material this morning... in forest on a booma in very hard.
    Random team member: Wut ? I thought we said "no luck material in the tools" ! Was that so hard to set a drop rate to 0 ?
    Programmer A: B... but we did ! I have no clue how the hell it can still drop...
    Random team member: So... No one knows where this bug comes from ?
    Programmer B: No, and it's probably gonna take a while to found out what's going on...
    Bored programmer C: Maaaaan! Just add a lil' if else here, say it's 0 whatever we feed it and hope no one find it again.

    How nasty is that ? he he :Ð

    • BALANCED CLASSES
    • All classes fit a unique specialty and purpose, without any weak links.

    The maximum and minimum stats of each character is different from vanilla:

    By example, Hunter have more HP and ATP overall than Ranger, (Racast used to have the higher HP in vanilla, which made no sense since they don't need to tank)

    Hunters are no longer left behind by Rangers. Most hunter's weapons are strong enough to compensate the fact that rangers almost don't need to move their big fat ass to fight (aka: range). In a nutshell, the new weapons added to the game are great !

    • EPIC BATTLES
    • On the higher difficulties, we put extra focus to improve miniboss and boss fights.

    In Ultimate difficulty, monsters deal way more damage.
    Also, there is no "knockdown" on this server. Which is great because you don't spend any time on the ground, but quite dangerous because you can get repeatedly hit really badly, making boss and miniboss really deadly (along with the damage raise).

    I also heard that a new difficulty level above Ultimate was planned ; and am pretty sure that the "EPIC BATTLES" refers to that =Ð

    • BEGINNER FRIENDLY
    • x3/x5 XP, Ultimate drops x2, Infinite Mag Feed, Free Meseta, and more!

    The exp rate is multiplied by 3 compared to vanilla.
    Once in a while, you can get the exp rate x5 instead during 3 hours

    In Ultimate you have a permanent x2 applied to the drop rate. Which can go to x3 during Happy Hour (happens almost once per day and last 3 hours)

    Infinite Mag Feed: you don't have to wait in order to feed your mag. Which means it is way faster and easier to get your mag lv200 right away.

    Once a while, a GM can open a "Meseta room", they basically drop stacks of 999 999 mesetas on the ground of pioneer, anyone can join the room, and you can pick it up just like that, fill your bank and common bank, etc.

    We also couldn't wait any longer before traveling to Norway, and we cannot play this week either because we didn't bring our computer with us, so feel free to open your next stack alone (record it again if you can, I enjoyed it).

    I didn't rush though, took my sweeeet time and barely killed a half dozen of Gryphons for the sake of the hunt.
