hi! I'm Nova - I think I've played on four? maybe five? different PSOBB servers over the years - very excited to get started on here  

 

Going great for the most part - the game crashes A Lot on my win10 PC though. 

 

Excited to meet all of you & to finally play thru all the govt quests, haha.

Welcome! Yep same, tried a bunch of PSO servers and them found my way here. Been here for over a year now and did not look back to other servers cause this place my jam. We are all very helpful and welcoming, feel free to ask away. Discord on forum home page is a very helpful resource. If you get persistent crashes feel free to reach out to make a post about it, discord will get you answers the fastest.

Welcome  this sever is amazing feel free to ask anything , everyone here is really helpful , my game been crashing a few times  recently but normally its pretty solid

FYI, the game will crash whenever the Windows UAC opens up. This is the prompt you get whenever you need to start a program in admin mode. The Destiny Reader and any AutoHotKeys you have need to be started in admin mode, making both likely culprits.

One way to handle this is to start all other admin programs before launching PSO. This way is less forgiving; if you hop in the game w/o Destiny Reader, be prepared to have to shut it down and start over again to get Destiny Reader running.

Another way is to create Task Scheduler admin tasks for all the PSO-related admin programs and start each one via task scheduler shortcuts. This skips the UAC prompt and saves the day for PSO, letting you launch Destiny Reader while PSO is running! This is what I do. To find out how, just google for "Task scheduler admin shortcuts" and it should take it from there.

Welcome! I've looked at many servers also, but this is the one that I stick to because of the custom gear, bosses, and quests. Everyone also is very helpful on this server too.
