Are teams still a thing?

All the recruitment threads are sorta old so I was wondering if teams are still a thing.

What sort of game features are there for teams?

If you scroll down on main forum page to featured teams section and click any team, you can see their recent activities and more.
There are ofc also other teams ingame but not registered on forums yet.
