Any Guide for Model Importing?

Hello! I was wondering if its okay to make model imports for Destiny. And  if so, is there any guide to do so? I have experience with rigging and such, and I would love to add and make models for the game! If there's any guide on how to do so, I would greatly appreciate that! thank you very much.
