    EASTER EVENT 2024

     

     

    Time for some easter!
     

    So, what's there to do???

    Egg Rappies

    Of course the Egg Rappies are back, dropping Easter Eggs that contain various stuff. Find the Rappies in Episode 2 Temple.

    In order to make farming easter eggs less boring, from now on easter eggs also drop at 1/500 from any mob in the following quests:

    • Ep1 / Easter / Lost Soul Ripper
    • Ep1 / Easter / Mines Offensive
    • Ep2 / Easter / Gal Da Val's Darkness

    Note that this rate does not have DAR calculated in already, so the final droprate per actual killed mob is still affected by amount of players and enemy DAR. Furthermore, egg drops are completely separate from rare drops and even common drops. This means that you won't ever miss out on a rare drop because an egg dropped. However, you may occasionally encounter two items in the same spot. 

     

    You can exchange Easter Eggs with a GM for a special item from the following list:

    • Byakko shield - 25 Easter Eggs
    • Suzaku shield - 25 Easter Eggs
    • Daisy Chain - 15 Easter Eggs
    • Murasame - 15 Easter Eggs
    • Tension Blaster - 15 Easter Eggs
    • RIANOV 303SNR-5 - 15 Easter Eggs
    • Black Gear - 15 Easter Eggs
    • Epsiguard - 15 Easter Eggs
    • [New!] Fake Special on Weapons - 8 Easter Eggs for 1 weapon, 15 Eggs for 2 weapons (Please check @Howitzer 's post)

    Update: 'Fake Special'

    Hey everyone,

    We're happy to announce 'Fake Special' feature for weapons with unique specials such as Dark Flow/Meteor, FEB, etc. We're introducing this feature to make it easier for players to tell weapon sets apart.

    Starting today, you can obtain the 'Fake Special' by redeeming Easter Eggs. It'll require 8 Easter Eggs to add 'Fake Special' to one weapon and 15 for two weapons

    • The weapons will be delivered with blank stats (0 attributes/hit) and shields/armors will have minimum stats.

    The lower your HP gets, the more projectiles it fires with each shot. Under 1/2 HP this weapon fires 2 projectiles to each target, under 1/8 (dark flow mode) it fires 3 shots per target (for a total of 12 shots).

    Some info about event droprates:

    • These items only drop in the specified quests. In all other quests, the standard items are dropping according to the droptable.
    • The droprate shown has DAR already calculated in. Just like the regular droptable. For example, Primal Nexus drops at 1/1204 from baranz episode 2. The actual rate is 1/602, but because baranz has 50% DAR, the rate shown is 1/1204.
    • Furthermore, these rates (just like the ones on the droptable) benefit fully from happy hours x3 and ultimate x2. 

     

     

    Easter event will run for about 4 weeks. Special thanks to all the staff for making this possible.

    Trades
    The market section is intended to discuss trades for in game items, currency and Donation Tokens. This section is for trading only. If you are selling items, start your topic title with "S>", and when buying, start with "B>".
    In the market section, you are allowed:

    • Up to 5 active trade topics at any given time. 
    • To bump one trade post per day.

    You are not allowed to:

    • Derail trade threads
    • Rant or publicly express your opinion about prices
    • Post in a trade topic without actual intention of trading
    • These actions will be considered spam and can result in action against your account, or in the very least a warning. Respect the topic starter. Each player has the right to trade as they see fit, and ask/offer any price as they see fit. If you think they act unfairly, it's a good idea to send them a Private Message to explain your thoughts in a friendly and respectful manner or, if you feel the trade is violating any rules, report the post. 

    Auctions
    When auctioning items, start your topic title with "A>". You are allowed up to one active auction at any given time. 
    For each auction, it is required to:

    • Set a start bid
    • Set an end date or count down from 1st bid
    • Set reset duration at least 8hours (if no explanation, 24hours reset will be applied)
    • Set minimmum increment (if no explanation, 1PD increment will be applied)

    About reset, If there is new bid within last 24hours, then the end date will be expanded for 24hours, to make fair for everyone in various timezone.

    Don't auction items you're not willing to sell for the start bid. If the auction ends, the item goes to the highest bidder, period. If you auction items you don't have, refuse to trade the item for the highest offer, bid items or currency you don't have, back out after end date is due, it is considered scamming, or in the very least spam.

    • You can't cancel your auction if theres bid. only if theres no bid, you can cancel.
    • You can't cancel/edit your bid with any reason.
    • No PM bids
    • You can't edit your auction rules if theres bid.

    RAmar is not really bad tbh, especially in certain quest that requires FO and RA with decent demon weapon. RAmarl is weak if theres already FO with lv35 S/D, thus both characters have advantage each other. for solo'ing RAmarl has more advantage i think, but if the quest doesn't need zalure so much, then RAmar could also be an option.

    about HUmar... got lv200 but stopped to use him since the lv200 game lol

    Hi! About max stats for each char:

    for e.g. HUmar/Ramar can use S/D/J/Z lv15. Melee FO don't need cry at their pretty low ata anymore, HUcaseal is no longer outclassed by HUct/RAct cuz of ATP buff (1700), etc.

    but still HUmar / RAcaseal are less used tbh, but it doesn't mean they are complately useless i believe. (the gap of ATP between RAct/RAcl is 100)

     

    Boosted magic:

    Lots of enemies don't have ridiculous resists unlike vanilla multi-mode. for e.g. dark bringer had like 90-90-90-100-123, but here has 30EIC so you can deal decent damage on them. of cource we have some cool stuffs to boost magic, the rare armor PRIMAL NEXUS (lv200 FO armor that boost all tech by 30%) is one of these. 

     

    Epic Battle:

    We have some of harder contents even with Destiny's featured gear. for e.g. in Beyond the Veil (EP1>Special), at the end you fight at Buffed dragon and gol dragon (named Rathalos / Vaal Hazzak) 'at the same time' (yes its impossible to make this quest without Destiny's hardcoded technical support).  Some event has quest with custom enemy thats much stronger than regulaer one.

    and especially dark falz and olga flow are buffed as you can see in the banner.

    Of cource we continue to make something like that contents in the future, i hope you to stay tuned :)

    Here is a list of common issues and possible solutions (thanks @Howitzer )

     

    Before diving in, its important to note that Destiny and other PSOBB servers are secure and not attempting to infect your PC. The antivirus related issues happen due to the modifications implemented in the game which some antivirus programs may flag as a trojan due to their behavior.

    This post is still in progress and i will update it every now and then. If any other issues arise, you can contact staff at any time here in Discord or Forum via PM for help 
     

    I downloaded the Installer but it doesnt work
    Before downloading the Installer or starting it, make sure that your antivirus is turned off. Some antivirus programs flag it as a threat, despite being marked as a false positive


    The game doesnt launch
    After installing the game and before reactivating your antivirus, please add an exception for your PSOBB Destiny folder to your Antivirus and Windows defender whitelist. The path for this is C:-> Program Files -> PSOBB Destiny. See down below how to add exclusions for Windows defender. Also, check your AV quarantine to make sure it hasn't been moved there


    How to add PSOBB Destiny folder in exclusions for Windows Defender
    Go to Windows > Settings > Privacy and Security > Windows Security > Virus and threat protection > Manage settings > Add or remove Exclusions > add PSOBB Destiny folder there from C:-> Program Files -> PSOBB Destiny


    The game opens and closes as soon as I click on 'play' in the launcher
    Ensure that you do not surpass your monitor's maximum resolution in the launcher options. If the game resolution exceeds your monitor's maximum, the game will simply open and close. If this doesn't resolve the issue, experiment with different resolutions until you find one that works. this issue asked most. 


     I disconnect randomly and dont know why / Server saying error 903 or full
    Try not using a wireless connection unless you have a good router or Please check your connection is stable or not. This is the same with other games as relying on wifi connection can cause issues with connection performance.


    I forgot my Username and can't login
    We need your Guildcard. You can potentially find it in the chat log folder under C: -> Program Files -> PSOBB Destiny -> Chatlog, or try to find the account verification email. Alternatively, ask a player with whom you have either exchanged GC or DTs. Contact the staff and provide them with this information for help

     

    Client downloads patch data (psobbw.exe) everytime and can't start

    If you are opening game directly, try to open via launcher. it solves this issue.

     

    If you tried and still have a question, feel free to ask staffs. （もし色々試してもわからない事がある時は気軽に聞いてください）

    Important notices:

    • Crate in TTFD works glitchy. if you drop the crate item and try to pick up again, at worst case it causes you (even the room) disconnection. to avoid it, you better not to open crate while you are plaing TTFD (especially when you have no room to carry extra item).
